The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for the overall brand management, marketing strategy and execution for a specific Leading Consumer Products Company category across all channels and geographies. The VP will define and drive all branding, storytelling across all platforms (e.g. packaging, digital, ecommerce), and product commercialization for the Direct to Consumer and Retail business for Shark globally. You will lead the Brand Marketing and Creative teams, and you will partner closely with Digital, Product Development, Engineering and Media teams to ensure consistent and flawless execution across a $1B+ business.

The VP is a creative and strategic thinker who strives to align both category and marketing goals with the company mission, moving forward vigorously with consensus. You will be accountable for developing and driving an A+ team and helping achieve annual revenue and profit targets.
Manage global brand identity and messaging for the Shark brand.
Align with overall business goals and ensure every consumer touch point is in line with the business objectives.
Develop and drive global brand architecture for Shark and ensure consistency in messaging across all consumer touch points packaging, displays, collateral, media, PR, online, and avenues.
Evaluate and engage outside agencies / consultants as needed to drive best in class execution
Develop and drive the commercialization strategy for the Shark brand.
Develop and execute launch plans for all products in store, online and D2C including but not limited to Displays, Packaging, Collateral, Branding, Online Assets, Naming Conventions, D2C Assets
Ensure 100% on time delivery and execution of all commercialization materials
Work cross functionally with sales and product development to ensure 360-degree execution of the commercialization plan.
Develop and distribute commercialization content to help place and drive products at retail
Own and deliver financial results for Shark s Direct to Consumer business.
Develop and drive overall marketing strategies to deliver the revenue and margin goals
Deliver top line plan of $XXX mil plus
Deliver EBITDA plan of $XXX
Lead 10% North America Growth initiative and establish clear role of Shark s D2C in the overall company growth
Lead and drive cross functional teams.
Establish connection and proactively communicate with other senior leaders in the organization, including Consumer Insights, Product Development, Sales, Engineering, Category Management and Quality
Work closely with product development and engineering teams on new products and develop the marketing story and communication for all product lines.
Drive digital first mindset within marketing, sales and other departments
Actively seek help and information to onboard and align to Leading Consumer Products Company go to market strategy

Bachelor s degree in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred
10+ years marketing/management and leadership experience within a consumer product driven company
Experience bringing products to market for big brands with revenue over $400M
Understanding of the big-box retail marketplace digital and eCommerce.
Previous experience working with global teams and products manufactured in China
Ability to work cross functionally with product development, engineering and other disciplines
Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire teams
Ability to be hands-on, and work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline driven environment
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude
Ability to travel globally, including trips to Chin
